Hey people! It's me again. Well the party last night was awesome. I stayed till nearly one thirty in the morning so I was really tired when we got home. My parents left around 12:30 but we only live across the street from the peopke having the party so Elaine and her family drove me home.
Well right now Tyler is downstairs playing Shrek 2 on Playstation, Mike is still at his friends house and my mom and dad are downstairs. Guess what? My mom broke her wrist. It happened on Wednesday.. I can't believe I forgot to write about it! Here's what happened:
My mom went out to get groceries and when she was coming home she decided to stop in and see her friend because her friend wasn't feeling too great. The friend's name is Bee. She's a really good friend of our family and all her grandkids call her Nina. So Tyler, Mike and I do too. We do that because all our relatives live in Scotland. Nina is Elaine's grandma. ANYWAYS Nina got her stairs redone in the summer time and they used this wierd paint that made it all slippery. She kept saying "Oh we've got to get something done about that." But nothing happened. In the winter so far we haven't got hardly any snow so they haven't been slippery. But on the Wednesday that my mom went over there there was like 5 inches of snow so the stairs were slippery. After my mom visited Nina she stepped onto the first step which was all wet because of the snow. She went flying and stuck her hand out to try and soften her land. But she ended up breaking her wrist in a few places. She's wearing a cast and on Thursday she went to see a doctor to see if she needed to get surgery. The doctor didn't want to say for sure so sometime this week she has to go to London to see if she does need surgery. Hopefully not!
I've never broken any body parts. But I've sprained my ankle once and sprained my wrist once too. The way I sprained my ankle was: When Tyler was born my mom and dad bought this fence type thing to put across the stairs so Tyler couldn't get up them. Mike and I got tired of having to latch and unlatch the fence everytime we went up or down the stairs. So after a while we would just jump over the fence. The one time we were coming downstairs and I jumped over the fence but instead of landing stably on my feet I kind of fell and landed on my ankle. That really hurt. I hobbled around for a while.. but I WAS being a little dramatic hee hee. Here's how I sprained my wrist: Fast forward to about two years later (when I was 9.) Tyler and I were in the rec room dancing to music. I can't even remember how I did it but suddenly I was on the ground and I had landed on my wrist. It hurt soo badly! The next day my wrist was swollen up really big. Those are MY only real injuries.
Well I guess I'll leave now since you (whoever YOU are) are probably bored to death reading about me!
Yours till the book reads
Natalie
